The amendment to the KKDIK regulation, eagerly anticipated by the Turkish chemical industry and international chemical companies in collaboration with Turkey, has been officially announced in the Gazette dated December 23, 2023.

The revision to the "Regulation on the Registration, Evaluation, Authorization, and Restriction of Chemicals" was officially disclosed in the Official Gazette dated December 23, 2023, under number 32408. This publication provides authoritative details regarding the modifications made to the KKDIK (Turkey REACH, TurkReach) Regulation.

 

The Ministry of Environment, Urbanization, and Climate Change (MoEUCC) had unveiled the "Draft Regulation Amending the Regulation on the Registration, Evaluation, Authorization, and Restriction of Chemicals” in November 2023.

 

This preliminary document outlined proposed extensions to registration periods, with the exact registration deadline and intricacies of the joint registration process set to be defined in upcoming Procedures and Principles issued by the Ministry.
