THE REGISTRATION PROCESS IS COMING UP!

31/12/2020, the date on which the registration process will begin of the regulation on the Registration, Evaluation, Authorisation and Restriction of chemicals (KKDIK regulation) and there are several days for deadline. From 31/12/2020, the registration module in the chemical registration system (KKS) will be active and industrialists will be able to start their entries.According to KKDIK regulation, before 31 December 2020 for substances greater than 1 tonne per annum on its own, in a mixture or in an article, the regulation provisions are applied between 31/12/2020 and 31/12/2023.
In accordance with the KKDIK regulation, manufacturers, importers and only representatives must first send pre-SIEF (pre-registration) through KKS in order to register jointly. Companies sending pre-SIEF; SIEF can access the contact information of other companies that have sent pre-SIEi of the same substance by querying, so they can contact the manufacturer, importer and only representatives of the same substance before the registration process about data and cost sharing issues required for registration.
It is very important for the effective functioning of the joint registration process that pre-registrations are sent before the 31/12/2020 date when the registrations will start.
But in terms of the fact that the registration process will continue until 31/12/2023 and the system is active for substances that will be placed on the market after 31/12/2020, the pre-SIEF module will not close after 31/12/2020 and will continue its function.
